On June 23, Shen Xiaoming, Secretary of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, and Mao Weiming, Deputy Secretary of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Hunan Province, conducted a special research on the development progress of safe and environmentally friendly fireworks products. They emphasized the need to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on promoting the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, continuously strengthen technological breakthroughs and the transformation of results, accelerate the development of safe, green, and new environmentally friendly fireworks products, promote the transformation and upgrading of the fireworks and firecrackers industry, and strive to improve the intrinsic safety level of the industry.
Shen Xiaoming, Mao Weiming and their delegation visited Hunan Xiangke Holdings Co., Ltd. to hear reports on the development progress of technical routes and sample prototyping for safe and environmentally friendly fireworks. They also inspected a series of samples, watched a comparative demonstration of the ignition of new environmentally friendly firework samples versus traditional fireworks, and gained detailed insights into the solutions and effectiveness of the new products in ensuring safety and controlling pollution sources.
Shen Xiaoming pointed out that maintaining the bottom line of safety is the fundamental prerequisite for the sustainable development of the industry, and it is necessary to make a firm decision to promote the safe and green transformation of the fireworks and firecrackers industry. On the basis of existing research and development results, further efforts should be made to increase technological breakthroughs, work closely with fireworks enterprises to promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and accelerate the launch of new environmentally friendly fireworks products. It is essential to strengthen overall planning and resource guarantees, accelerate the construction of pilot testing bases, promote collaborative innovation across the upstream and downstream of the industry chain, and actively explore the establishment of safety and green standards systems. We must expand distinctive application scenarios, drive new products out of the laboratory, enhance user experience and convenience, and truly subject new products to market testing.
